Benefit fraud arrests

The Financial Crime Unit of the Royal Gibraltar Police has made three more arrests as part of an ongoing crackdown on benefit fraud.

Fourteen people have been arrested over the past six months for this type of offence. The latest three, who have not been named, were arrested for obtaining a total of £3800 in supplementary benefits by false representation.

All three are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
