Man in Court after National Day car crash

A man appeared in the Magistrates’ Court yesterday in connection with a car crash that left two women seriously injured in the early hours of National Day.

Kyle Olivares, aged 21 of 4 Oak Tree Lodge, faces charges of failing to provide a breath specimen, dangerous driving and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted bail on his own recognisance in the sum of £1,500 and the case was adjourned until the second week of November.

As part of his bail conditions, Mr Olivares is barred from driving any type of vehicle.

He was also ordered not to interfere with three people who witnessed the scene.
