Sunday Times focus on Gibraltar's online entrepreneur

32Red.com's Founder and Chief Executive Ed Ware
This weekend’s Sunday Times business section “How I Made It” carries an in-depth article about the business success of locally based on-line gaming company 32Red.com and its founder and Chief Executive Ed Ware, 38.

Ed started his association with the gambling business as a trainee shop manager for Ladbrokes in London in 1987 working his way up the promotion ladder until he was sent to Gibraltar to develop Ladbroke’s fledgling operation on the Rock.

After a 15 year involvement with the UK company, Ed decided to set up his own company and go it alone in competition with his old employer.

In his words, 32Red.com which has proved highly profitable is “a service that is tailored to people who are interested in casino games and not necessarily the 3.30 at Haydock Park.” 80% of his customers are British and his company has a turnover of more than £5m.
