Go-Slow does not affect frontier flow

Policia nacional work-to-rule continues

Gibraltar - La Linea Frontier - Spanish police trade unions have declared a work-to-rule as from August 1st 2005
The go-slow by the Spanish Policia Nacional had little effect on frontier flow yesterday, although the industrial action was continuing, informed sources confirmed to the Chronicle yesterday.

It is understood that it will be airports and frontiers nationwide that will bear the brunt of the action.

Meanwhile ordinary policemen are said to feel short-changed by the PSOE Government and their unions have said that the promises made in opposition have not materialised once the socialists got into power.
