Payas and Martin in a night of sacred song

* Concert in aid of A Pathway Through Pain

Nathan Payas and Andrea Martin will perform this Saturday at St Theresa’s Church in aid of a new local charity A Pathway Through Pain.

The charity was started at Bayside School before the end of the school year.

The concert is the Jenise Payas Memorial ConcertAn Evening of Sacred Songs and Arias which will feature young local tenor Nathan Payas who earlier this week sold out concerts at the Convent Ballroom, and soprano Andrea Martin who recently co-hosted Miss Gibraltar 2005 for the first time.

The concert will also feature local musicians Nina Saciacaluga on flute, and Evelyn Lara on cello.

Both singers will be accompanied by pianist John Bruzon who also joined Nathan in his two concerts earlier this week. Guest guitarist for the night will be Eric Ellul.

Tickets for the concert are priced at £5 and are on sale at Solomon Levy Estate Agents, Sacarello’s Coffee House, and the Cathedral Bookshop. The concert on Saturday starts at 9.30pm.
