Moroccan Group condemns London attacks

The Moroccan Community Association in Gibraltar has condemned last week’s terrorist attacks in London and offered its condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed.

“The people who carried out these cowardly attacks did so in the knowledge that they would be deliberately attacking defenceless ordinary working people from all backgrounds and of all faiths, including Muslims, Christians and Jews among others,” said the association’s general secretary, Ali Douissi, in a statement yesterday.

“No just cause or religious belief of any value could possible support or excuse this awful event.

At this time we extend our sympathies to all the victims and their families and offer our prayers that they will be comforted and given strength in their hour of need.”
