MEP on Gibraltar visit

Graham Watson MEP
Liberal Democrat MEP Graham Watson is in Gibraltar today on a constituency visit.

The visit has been organised by the Liberal Party of Gibraltar whose office in Irish Town is the Liberal Democrats constituency office for Gibraltar.

On his arrival in Gibraltar Mr Watson will attend a lunch hosted by the Leader of the Liberal Party Dr Joseph Garcia and other party members.

He will then call on the Minister for Trade and Industry Joe Holliday and at Mr Watson’s request a visit will be made to an EU funded project in Gibraltar. The project is John Mackintosh Square.

This will be followed by a press conference and a series of meetings with constituents who are expected to raise a wide range of EU issues for Mr Watson to take up as their MEP.

Graham Watson was elected Liberal Democrat MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar in June 2004. He was last in Gibraltar in September last year for National Day.
