Jewellery theft in broad daylight

Police are searching for two young men who stole a tray with jewellery worth £350 from a busy Main Street shop yesterday.

Satish Mansukhani, the shop’s owner, said he was attending to around 10 customers when the men ran in and grabbed the tray from a window showcase that was slightly open.

Before he could stop them, they ran out of the shop, Manse, and vanished into the crowds on Main Street.

Officers from the Royal Gibraltar Police attended the scene of the crime and carried out forensic tests. The investigation into the incident continues.
