ESG want Refinery issue raised in Faro

Environmental Safety Group (ESG) will this week be urging Peter Caruana, Chief Minister, to raise the question of environmental pollution, especially the concerns over Campo refinery emissions, at this weekend’s trilateral talks.

Ahead of a public meeting last night the ESG said that this is an issue of concern for people on both sides of the border and this was an opportunity and a challenge for Gibraltar to raise the issue at the talks.

“We are doing this for our children, not for any other reasons,” said David Dumas QC.
