All set for Tripartite talks in Portugal

The second meeting of the trilateral forum of dialogue established by the UK, Gibraltar and Spanish Governments will be taking place at the Sheraton Algarve Hotel in Portugal over two days opening on Friday afternoon, a Gibraltar Government spokesman said yesterday.

The first round of the process took place in Malaga earlier this year. “This round is hosted by the Gibraltar Government. Friday’s session will be followed by a working dinner and the talks will continue on Saturday morning with the issue of a press release at a press conference and media interviews planned for mid-day,” said a Gibraltar Government spokesman. He added:

“The Gibraltar delegation comprises the Chief Minister Peter Caruana, the Chief Secretary Ernest Montado and the Assistant Chief Secretary Richard Armstrong.

They are accompanied by Press Secretary Francis Cantos and the Chief Minister’s Personal Secretary Larissa Zammit.

They return to Gibraltar on Saturday evening.”
