The Chinook, the heavylifter of the SHF based at RAF Odiham
A Chinook helicopter from 27 Sqn RAF Odiham arrived at Gibraltar to take part in the flypast to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday and joins the three Hawks at the airfield.

The flypast made up of three Jaguars from 41 Sqn RAF Colitshall, three Hawk aircraft from 208 Sqn RAF Valley, a C-130 Hercules from RAF Lyneham will take place during the parade in Casemates this afternoon at 6pm.

The parade will commence shortly before and will be reviewed by Governor and Commander in Chief, Sir Francis Richards.

Music for the parade will be provided by the Band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and the Pipes and Drums of London Scottish. The Guard will be formed by the RG Regiment, whose Colours will be on parade along with the Royal Navy Ceremonial White Ensign and the standard of 202 Squadron Royal Air Force.
