Queen’s Birthday Honour for local soldier

Warrant Officer (Class 2) Pete Jackson of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment, has been honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List as a Member of the British Empire (MBE).

The award is in recognition of his work in refurbishing the military training area and acting as the Chief Tunnel Guide for British Forces Gibraltar.

Warrant Officer Jackson joined the Army in 1977 and has served with the Royal Gibraltar Regiment since 1990. He is married to Lesley and they have 3 children, Peter, Rachael and Georgina.
