Aconcagua trek raises over £10,500

After returning from their successful expedition to Mount Aconcagua earlier this year, the Customs Charity Challenge presented the nominated charities with their respective donations.

As a result of many generous donations a total of £10,592 was raised and is being shared equally between, RICC, Hospice at Home, Children in Care and St Martin’s School.

The presentation was held in conjunction with a small exhibition of superb selected photographs taken by the members of the team during the expedition.

The expedition team, with their children, made the presentation to local charities represented last night - Hospice at Home, St Martin’s School and RICC. The team paid tribute to the efforts of Francis Rodriguez in keeping the project together.
