Shame on Government and Opposition, says former Ombudsman

Sierra Leone immigrant

Former Ombudsman Henry Pinna has written a strongly worded letter to the Gibraltar Chronicle in which he criticises the failure of the Gibraltar’s politicians and administration to resolve the dilemma faced by the Sierra Leone immigrant Matthew Gbassey Turay.

“Shame on the Government and the Opposition, and shame on those Government officials responsible for prolonging indefinitely the sorry plight of Mr Gbassey who to this day continues to exist in ‘administrative limbo’ and continued to be denied a temporary work permit.”
