Whishaw judges Gibraltar Art Exhibition

The winners of the 32nd Gibraltar International Art Exhibition will be announced later tonight by Culture Minister Clive Beltran.

This year’s judge, Senior Royal Academician Anthony Whishaw got his first preview of the 188 paintings which have been entered for this years exhibition on Friday.

The exhibition opens to the public tomorrow at the Mackintosh Hall until Thursday 17. There has been no pre-selection this year with 108 artists presenting their work. The number of entries allowed per artist have been limited to two.

Anthony Whishaw who lives and works in London has been a Royal Academician since 1989 and a Member of the Royal West of England Academy in 1992.
